Wayne H. Moser, 99 of Valparaiso, passed away Monday, February 17, 2025. He was born July 19, 1925, in Kouts, IN to the late George and Lydia (Sauder) Moser. Wayne graduated from Valparaiso High School, and proudly served in the United States Navy from 1943-1946 during World War II. Following his time in the service, Wayne worked for Foster's Lumber in Valparaiso as a Foreman, before he went on to a career as a Lab Technician with Urschel Laboratories for 27 years. Wayne attended the LaCrosse Apostolic Christian Church, and was a former member of the American Legion Post 94. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, camping, and most importantly, spending time with his beloved family.
On November 20, 1949, Wayne married Rosaleah Rogers, who preceded him in death in 2022. He is survived by their children: Donna (Roger) Long, Stanley (Lisa Foster) Moser, and Diane (Steve) Osburn; grandchildren: Andy, Bryan, Sara, Ryan, Michelle, and Justin; and 12 great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Moeller Funeral Home, 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso. The funeral service will begin on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at the LaCrosse Apostolic Christian Church, 508 Mill St., LaCrosse, with burial to follow at Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso, In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the LaCrosse Apostolic Christian Church.

Wayne and Rosie were important people as I was growing up. I loved the birthday sleepovers at their house for Donna´s birthday and the many times we would see them at their house for Urschel picnic. Our family always appreciated Wayne saving a bag of what ever the lab was testing on any given day, for my dad to pick up before coming home for the day. He knew that my brother and I would always have to talk about it with Stan and Donna the next day at school! Great times in the old neighborhood.
