Willard L. Robinson

WILLARD L. ROBINSON VALPARAISO, IN FORMERLY OF GARY Willard L. Robinson, age 93 of Valparaiso and formerly of Gary, passed away Saturday, December 8, 2012. He was born on May 5, 1919 in Madrid, KY the son of Taylor and Lena (Whitworth) Robinson. Willard was a WWII Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Third Armored Division, retired from U.S. Steel as a coil inspector, and was a member of the Moose Lodge 1357 of Valparaiso. On September 23, 1948 in Gary, Willard married Catherine "Kay" Graham, who preceded him in death in 2006. He is survived by his daughters: Patty (Chet) Ebner of Hebron and Brenda Robinson of Valparaiso; brother, James (Dorothea) Robinson of CA; and three grandchildren: Jason Robinson, Alexandra Robinson-Norris and Blake Ebner. He was also preceded in death by his parents; and brother, John Robinson. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, December 13t, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Moeller Funeral Home, 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso with Rev. Wayne Rhodes officiating, burial to follow at Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3:00-7:00 PM.
