Scott and family, was sad to hear of your Dad's passing. Be sure he is in God's arms..
Bill was always smiling, caring and the utmost professional. One knew, when he would ask, "How are you today", that he really meant it! He would always ask about the fishing in Minnesota.

My condolences go out to the family of Scott Burdan. Bill was always a friend to me and gave me great professional advice while I practiced my profession as a Funeral Director and Embalmer. He was a true Chicago style undertaker in a community such as Ceder Lake, Indiana. It was a pleasure to have know and worked with such a great person.

Bill was always a consummate professional and a delight with whom to work. During my time as Pastor at Zion UCC, we had regular occasion to work together. I was always grateful to know I needn't worry if my congregants entrusted Burdans in their time of need. My condolences to all his loved ones.

I am sorry to hear about the passing of Bill. I liked talking with him when he came by our Knights of Columbus council hall. He talked about his family whom he loved or asked what was happening with me. My condolences to the entire Burdan family. He will be greatly missed.

Scott and entire Burdan Family, we are saddened to hear about Bill's passing! He was an original and genuine gentlemen who we were fortunate to have known and spent quality time with over the decades. I remember the many times he and your Mom would come over to visit my Mom and Dad and your Mom would bring over those crazy good brownies and Bill would always have his smoking pipe. I recall one time he gave me one of his pipes to keep because I told him I liked the smell, he was such a kind and gentle man with a quick wit. One of my fondest memories was when my all of us(Dad, Bill, Bryan and I) went to the Notre Dame game together and about froze to the bone. We had such a great time and on the way home after the Irish victory we stopped in Valpo at Broadway Café to warm up and get a bite to eat. We all got our meal and while Bryan was shaking the bottle of ketchup the lid unexpectedly came off and showered poor Bill with ketchup all over his shirt...what a mess. All Bill said, "Well, I guess this shirt will have to be put in the wash" with that Bill smile. He just smiled and reassured Bryan that it was OK and that why washers were invented...ha ha. What a great man and He was such a gentleman and we truly enjoyed his company. The Team in Heaven is complete! Oh how much laughing there will be now! God Bless Bill and God Bless the Burdan Family!!! GO NAVY!!!
