Tom was a good friend and I feel his absence keenly. He was my Trivia rival and buddy. He encouraged my writing; told his stories of the military, NYC and FDNY; shared and compared our travel and genealogy experiences; and discussed the books we were reading. He will be sorely missed. R.I.P. my friend, 'til we meet again.

Tom and I spent many a night having a few beers and listening to the juke box at both the Blue Parrot and Swigwams in St Pete Beach. He loved to tell a good story, sit and bs about things going on and show-off his voluminous knowledge of things during trivia question sessions around the bar. Wouldn't you know I finally cajoled him into playing a game of pool and after forty years of not playing, wiped the table with me! Tom, youare and will remain sorely missed
