LOUARD--Agnes A. Social Work Educator, age 96, died peacefully at home in New York City on March 28, 2018. Born: Savannah, GA. Education: University of Pennsylvania (BA '44), Fiske (MA '45), Columbia School of Social Work (MSW '48). Retired Associate Professor CSSW (1962 -1992), Outstanding Teacher Award (1993), Alumni Medal (1998). New York State Gubernatorial Appointee to shape and launch Head Start nationwide. Agnes is survived by her children, Rita, Diane, Ken; grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, V. Benjamin Louard. Funeral: April 10, 10:30am at The Cathedral of Saint John the Divine, 1047 Amsterdam Ave., NYC.
