"Grandpa" would call us every other month to order firefighting books to be sent to his grandson. It was indeed an honor to speak with him for a few minutes at a time. Rest in peace, Grandpa

Thank you to Brooklyn Law School for publicly remembering Prof. Al DeMeo, such a fine man and such a fine teacher. I remember him fondly from working at BLS in the early 1980's and he and I would often have a quiet early morning chat each day. He was thoughtful, caring, and so generous to the students there. He was devoted to his family and to the law. He was a remarkable man and one who will not be soon forgotten.
