I remember visiting Alex twice while he was living in Los angeles. On one visit we went to his apartment prior to going out to dinner and was amazed at the contents of his refrigerator. Only two bottles of water! Thats it! Pantry was just as bare. He told me that he ate out ALOT. Then we went to a Mexican place for dinner. I ordered BUT he did not. Said he wasn't hungry. It was a great visit though. On another visit Alex invited me to a venue where his band was playing. I think the name was 30 Below Zero but not sure. He reserved a seat for me on the front row/table. Band was loud. It was a long evening but very entertaining. He certainly could play the drums. I miss my nephew very much.

I will always remember my visit with Alex in LAX. We had Mexican food at some dive he wanted me to try. It was great but Alex didn't eat. I always wondered about that. Then I went to hear him and his band play at "38 Below".(?) I think it was a fun evening. We will all miss him enormously.
