ALEXANDER NORDEN Obituary

NORDEN--Alexander, passed away on August 12, 2014. Beloved and remarkable husband of the late Alexandra Kobryner Norden, adored father of Rich, Terri, and Gene Norden, and loving grandfather of Nick, Erik, Alexandra and Ashley Norden. Survived the bombing of London while attending boarding school; then joined the British RAF in WWII. Electrical engineer extraordinaire and prodigious inventor and most importantly, loved intensely. Services will be at Riverside Memorial Chapel in Manhattan at 12:45pm today.

Kyr and I will miss eyeing him at The Marbella with his ever present twinkle in his eye. Alec beamed when his grandchildren were around and when he spoke of them. They have tall shoes to fill. Our sympathies go to Terri and Gene and Rich and the grandchildren. A truly splendid individual who was one of a kind.
