ALICE BUKANTZ Obituary

BUKANTZ--Alice, on February 1st. Born on May 15th 1924 to Malvina and Julius Ellenbogen in Nove Zamke, Czechoslovakia. After surviving the Holocaust, Alice came to the United States and graduated from Fashion Institute of Technology and became a designer for Anne Klein. Alice was married to Dr. Daniel Bukantz from April 29, 1956 until his passing on July 26th, 2008. Alice and Danny lived in Forest Hills and Sarasota. Alice took great pride in serving the Whispering Sands community in Siesta Key while organizing the annual fashion show and the monthly speakers events. Alice is survived by her son Jeffrey, grandchildren Stephanie and Michael, brother Robert Ellyn, nieces Pamela Muir and Nancy Bokovza, and nephews Bruce and Keith Raphael. She is pre deceased by her sister Clara and her nephew Gregory Ellyn. Services Monday February 4th at 11:30 am at ""The Riverside"" 76 Street and Amsterdam Avenue.

Dear Family & Friends. I would like to offer my deepest sympathies. May all of the memories you have of your Dear One always warm your hearts & put a smile on your face. Isaiah 61:1,2 says God comforts all who mourn. May Alice's memory be a blessing.
