Allen and I played together at his house while our mother's were visiting. For years I was there at Great Neck every summer. As I became an older teenage girl I had other interests and and no longer took the railroad to visit. but I never forgot him and our beach searches to find the best shells!!

Although losing my father is an incredible loss, I will never forgot all that he has taught me and all the wonderful years we had together. I could not have asked for a better father or a better role model. I will never love anyone more than him.

Thank you to everyone who has been good to my father during his last years, especially my sister Margaret, my mother Joan, Brooks Rogers, Tony, and Jaques Hoffman. My father was a real liver, a real doer, and had a very full life. It is my sadness that my children will not have more memories of him, but I am grateful that they got to meet him.
