Thank you Aunt Amy, for being such a great role model for women. Our girls have always admired your accomplishments and we all appreciate how good you and Uncle Joe were to them growing up. You will be missed. We are praying for you and your family at this time.
Love,

I still live on the Upper West Side -- and every time i walk past the Dorilton I think of Amy and you. I see the fruit of your hard work in cooping the building. Back when we were at WNYE-TV, I was a producer-broadcaster on several series -- most notably a drug series with Laura Webber (Drugs? Let's Find Out) -- several years of "Your Community Schools" with Laura and my Emmy Series "Israel in Israel" a bi-lingual Hebrew/English series for students studying Hebrew in high school. Amy and I were either the only people who knew how to cook or the only ones who cared to cook. Amy's fresh-baked bread had many champions -- and I ended every season with chicken and rice for the crew. I totally lost track of everyone from WNYE after the city's fiscal crisis. I was assigned to teach in a school in Brooklyn and, since I was never committed to being a classroom teacher (only interested in teaching on television), I left the Board of Education. I have been a real estate broker on the West Side since 1983 and it has fit into my lifestyle since then. Sad to see that the city is so big, that Amy and I managed to live so close but so far apart. I am so sorry to see that she has passed -- but she has left an indelible mark in so many areas that her memory will continue for many who knew her. Susan Scheingarten Ruttner
