ANDREW TORREGROSSA Obituary

TORREGROSSA--Andrew. On October 8, 2011, Andrew Torregrossa passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side. During his eighty-six years, Andrew was a family man, war her, humanitarian, philanthropist, devoted Catholic, and one of the most highly regarded figures in the funeral service industry. Mr. Torregrossa is President of Andrew Torregrossa & Sons, Inc. Funeral Homes in Brooklyn, New York. Andrew is survived by his Beloved wife, Mary. Loving father of Pietrina and Daniel Pensabene, Lucille Torregrossa, Louis and Vivian Torregrossa, John and Bridget Torregrossa, Maria and Michael Pieterick and his late son, Andrew III. Cherished grandfather of 15 and great grandfather of 11. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him and his memory will remain in all our hearts forever. Wake services to be held at Andrew Torregrossa & Sons Funeral Home, 1305 79th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11228. Wednesday, October 12th, 2011 and Thursday, October 13th, 2011, Hours 2-5pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Mass, Friday, October 14th, 2011 at St. Bernadette R.C. Church. Entombment to follow at St. Johns Cemetery.

I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even in death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make.
