So sorry to hear of Anita Roddick's death. I shop at the Body Shop and applaud Anita for all her efforts against animal testing. As family & friends mourn her loss, put faith in the words of the Lord Jesus as he promises a resurrection of our loved ones lost in death. John 5:28,29. You have my sympathies.

Anita left a legacy of change and activism- inspiring me and many others to make a difference in the world. She was an extraordinary woman who actively made a difference through caring about others. The Body Shop is a wonderful example of cosmetics/skincare with a 'cause.' I am proud to be a part of this company and to purchase products that help others. Anita... may you rest in peace and know you definitely affected change.

God did some of his finest work in Anita. How proud you must be of her. We are all so blessed that God's plan for each of our lives included this incredible woman. All that she accomplished was driven by her love for life and those in it. What an immeasurable legacy she has left.

You found your path and took the lead in a journey as a courageous crusader for those without a voice to speak and be heard. Thank you for the difference you've made around the world. I remember calling on the person handling shipping at The Body Shop's distribution center in Raleigh, NC maybe ten years ago. Knew nothing about the business nor its ownership at the time of the call. Overwhelmed by the facility and the "culture" of the place, then I read about Ms. Roddick and the company's history, and was enthralled. This was one "Grande Dame" with a mighty big heart, so I learned. She will be missed by many, no doubt about it.

I am truly sorry to hear of your loss and wish you all the best in the difficult times ahead. I worked for The Body Shop for a number of years and met Anita on several occasions. I always have and will look upon those memories with admiration for a woman of her magnificent strength, her bold passion for what she believed in, and her true heart and soul in everything she did. She influenced so many in her life. I am priviledged to have known her and will miss her.

Anita was my mentor. She was the primary reason for me joining The Body Shop at Home. Her "passion" has been mine too and I will continue to try to make this world a better place the way Anita did. Her energy was so powerful and vibrant. She was an inspiration to us all and I will never forget her.

Hearing about Anita's passing has been devestating to me. I proudly work for The Body Shop ( in Canada) and it will never be the same without Anita. She was a true visionary, a pioneer, a fearless leader, and compassionate political activist. It was an honor to have met her and work for her company. The world has lost a truly remarkable woman.

This woman and her company saved my life! at 30 I got "teenage acne," somehting I had NEVER had as a teenager. Now at 40 and after 10 years of using her tea tree products faithfully my skin has never looked better. Head to toe. I was devistated to hear of her passing. Amazing woman, with an amazing company. What a true blessing she was, to the Earth and it's inhabitants - what an example to us all!
Above all,she was a Mother and I know the terrible void that comes from abruptly losing my own. My heart goes out to you at this time. Know that the love you share is the one thing that can survive the great expanse between life and death.
