ARTHUR BACH Obituary

BACH--Arthur. Arthur Bach, who helped develop the World Trade Center as Chief of Leasing with the Port Authority's Real Estate Law Division, died on November 13, 2025, of natural causes, days after his 71st wedding anniversary with his loving wife Ginny. He was 98. Raised in Manhattan, a gentleman whose warmth, wit and steadfastness inspired and endeared him to many, he left this plane serenaded and surrounded by Ginny and devoted daughters Carla and Amy Bach, and grandchildren Julien and Dr. Sonya Chemouni Bach and Darrah and Jordy Bach. Generous with his time and expertise, his volunteer service included the Methodist Hospital Ethical Review Board, Brooklyn Mediation and Arbitration program, and draft counseling during the Vietnam War. He served in the Army in WWII. A lifelong athlete and tennis champ, he bicycled through France well into his 80s. A lover of classical music, he also played guitar and introduced generations of family members to traditional folk music.

Yesterday

Arthur's loving nature, endearing personality, exemplary character, work ethic and post -retirement volunteerism and community service were an inspiration to his fortunate nieces and nephews. And his guitar playing and folk music brightened our lives for the past 65-70 years. He was a beloved uncle and role model and his memory will always be a blessing!
