Arthur S. Kaufman

KAUFMAN--Arthur S., of Livingston, NJ, on May 15, 2008, at age 92. Beloved husband of Harriet for 61 years, loving father of Richard, Jonathan, and Jeanne and father-in-law of Carole and Bob; brother of Bernie. Arthur was born and brought up in New York City, graduated with a Master's Degree in Education from City College, New York, and served as a Master Sergeant in the U.S. Army during World War II. He created the successful import/export firm Arkay International, which he ran for more than 50 years. Arthur was an active member of Temple Beth Shalom of Livingston, where he served for many years on the Ritual Committee. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, May 18, at 1:15pm, at Bernheim, Apter, Kreitzman Funeral Home in Livingston.
