BARRY COHEN Obituary

COHEN--Barry S., of Keene, NH, formerly of New York City, passed away peacefully in Sarasota, FL on June 9, 2014 surrounded by his family. He was 87 years old. Barry grew up in Brooklyn, NY. He served in the US Navy in WWII, then earned his BA from Cornell University ('47) and his JD from Yale Law School ('50). Barry is survived by his sister, Phyllis Cohen, his daughters Vivian Farmery and Debe Holland, and his grandchildren who were his heart's delight: Kyle and Hannah Farmery, and Lily, Sam, and Wes Holland. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Lynda Fox, his mother, Mathilda Sheer, and his father, Harry Cohen. A man of great intellectual curiosity and wit, Barry was adored by all who knew him. He will be deeply missed. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Saddle Brook, NJ.
