Berl Sternberg Obituary

STERNBERG--Berl P., 92, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family on October 6, 2009. Berl, retired principal of JHS 45, spent his life serving his community. He was known to those around him for his sense of humor, integrity, and willingness to help anyone who came to him in need. He will be deeply missed by his wife Hilda, his children Beth (John), David (Joy), and Judy and by his grandchildren Rachel, Jennifer, Micah, Joshua and Hannah. Services will be held at Weinstein Memorial Chapel, 1652 Central Park Avenue, Yonkers at 1pm Thursday, October 8. Shiva will be at the house from Thursday, October 8 through Monday, October 12.
