BERNARD LIPOFF Obituary

LIPOFF--Bernard, passed away on March 29 at home, with his loving family around him. He was 95 and lived a full and wonderful life. He was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. In 1952 he graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder and then received his MBA at City College of New York. He married Barbara Tanz in 1956. They moved to Westchester where they raised two children, Cory and Beth. After a career at IBM, Bobbie and Bernie retired to the Hamptons and Palm Desert, CA. In 2006 they relocated to BallenIsles in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Bernie was a gifted athlete, a loyal New York Giants fan, an intrepid traveler and master Sudoku puzzler. His intelligence and memory never diminished with age. He will be remembered by all who knew and loved him as the epitome of honesty and integrity and his loss leaves an unfillable void in the family that adored him: Bobbie, his wife of 66 years, son Cory Lipoff (Debbie), daughter Beth Glass (David), grandsons Matthew Lipoff (Faye), and Andrew Lipoff, and sister-in-law Mirel Gold. In lieu of flowers please make donations to The Democratic National Committee.

My heart goes out to the Lipoff family. Bernie was a wonderful loyal friend to my mother Lydia. She cherished her friendship with him and Bobbie.
