GROSSBERG--Bernice Rosalind (nee Zirin), passed away peacefully January, 19, 2023 in Englewood, NJ. Born in Brooklyn on March 2, 1933 to Louis and Ida Zirin, Bernice was predeceased by her sisters Edith and Alice. She was a devoted mother to her children Helene (Dan Lacoff) and Rick (Audrey) and a beloved grandmother to Allison, Lauren, Emily and Elyse. She was blessed with four great- grandchildren Remi, Olivia, Max, and Drew. Her family was her life and our life was Bernice. She spent her career as an executive secretary and worked tirelessly and meticulously until the age of 75. Bernice was a psychotic Met fan, proudly wearing her orange and blue at many games and at home. Bernice was not just a grandma to her own family. All our extended family and friends called her Grandma Bernice because she was beloved by everyone she touched. The funeral service will be held at Gutterman and Musicant, 402 Park St., Hackensack, NJ on Sunday, January 22 at 11:00am.
