TANENBAUM--Bernice. The officers, board, and staff of the American Technion Society (ATS) express profound regret at the loss of our longtime friend and supporter Bernice Tanenbaum of Great Neck, NY. Together with her beloved late husband, Joseph, she was a Technion Guardian, a distinction reserved for those who have reached the highest level of commitment to the Technion. Bernice was a former member of the ATS Board of Directors and an honorary life member of the Technion Board of Governors. The couple's gifts to the Technion included the Joseph and Bernice Tanenbaum/ New York Metropolitan Region Dormitory, the Joseph and Bernice Tanenbaum Ph.D. Fellowship, and the Tanenbaum Chair in Preventative Medicine. We extend our heartfelt condolences to Bernice's sons Seth, Mark, Daniel, and Richard, to grandson Greg, whose involvement with ATS is continuing Bernice's deep dedication to the organization and the Technion; and to the entire Tanenbaum family.
