I met Betty when I was a waitress at Chubby's. She loved the turkey burgers and egg salad. Both her and her husband we very down to earth kind people. My deepest condolences to her family

Betty was a very good friend for me starting in the mid 60s when I worked for her mother Mrs Wold and has continued ever since. It was a treasure to find the little distinctive envelopes in the mail box with a hand written note from Betty. I still have them. I am grateful knowing a quiet wonderful person for all those years.

I did not know your Mother, but I felt like I did, because of her and your families generosity to Bethesda Hospital. I worked there for nearly 39 years and am working on the History/Archives for Bethesda and your Mother/family support shows up in very many ways. Thank you for your generous support and helping to make Bethesda the wonderful Hospital that it is.

I met Betty on several occasions when I was a member of the Arts and Business Council in NYC. She was warm, friendly, down to earth and passionate about the arts when we had a common interest in the NYC Opera and Lincoln Center. Several years later we met on the promenade at Lincoln Center and she not only remembered me by name but the fact that my Mom was from Minnesota and a gophers fan! I loved her spirit and curiosity about life! she will be fondly remembered by all ❤
