Bob Fass had an uncanny ability to listen to 5 people conversing on air and if one person started to say something that went in a direction he wanted to go, he would turn down the other four and bring up the sound of that one person. We all need to hone our inner Bob Fass and learn to recognize the sound of truth even if it is quiet or loud, comfortable or uncomfortable, or demanding something of us we are afraid to give. It's the essence of Free Speech radio.

I have heard that there is an African tribe which considers that there are two levels of death. The first death, when you actually die, but there are living people who keep a living memory of you alive in their minds. And the second death, when no one is still alive whoever actually saw you or heard you when you were alive. Bob Fass touched so many lives, I'm thinking he will be almost immortal!
