BRUCE WASSERSTEIN Obituary

WASSERSTEIN--Bruce, on October 14, 2009. Beloved husband of Angela Chao. Loving father of Pamela, Ben, Scoop, Jack, Dash, Lucy Jane and Sky. Cherished son of the late Lola and Morris. Devoted brother of Georgette and the late Sandra and Wendy. Proud uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was an unparalleled leader, advisor, strategist, and visionary. He was an incredible life force and a source of love, laughter, and inspiration. He will be profoundly missed. A memorial service will be held next month at a place and time to be announced. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Morris Wasserstein Fund for Creativity at Stuyvesant High School, c/o The Campaign for Stuyvesant, P.O. Bruce always had time when it seemed as he had none. Friendly, funny and always interested. He made a difference to many things and to many people. He will be missed and the great stories will always be with us. With sympathies and blessings of comfort to his family.
