I met Dr Cohen my first day in the operating room as a first year resident in the Dept. of Ob/Gyn and Repro Med at The Mount Sinai Medical Center
He was one of the finest human beings that I have ever had the pleasure of
knowing.
He and his wife Babette guided a magnificent family. He was Known to us all
as Dr Cohen
He was a true scholar, researcher , physician, mentor and friend to many of us.
May his memory be for a blessing

Dr Cohen and I go way back. In 1970 he delivered my son. I had the privilege of being his patient for many many years thereafter. Condolences to his family. May his memory be a blessing.

Carmel Cohen, MD was a brilliant physician, surgeon and scientist. He was a giant at The Mount Sinai Hospital. His legacy lives on in the many students, residents and fellows he trained and the patients he treated.
