CAROL BUCHALTER

BUCHALTER--Carol Schechter, born July 8, 1931, died at her home in Manhattan on November 21, 2023 at 92. Carol was preceded in death by her husband Martin Buchalter, with whom she built Parker Laboratories, Inc., the leading manufacturer of ultrasound and electromedical contact media. Carol was a loving, generous and independent-spirited woman who focused on her family with a true joie de vivre. She is survived by her children Vida Harband (Jeff), Neal Buchalter (Robin), and Rona Buchalter (Nathaniel Popkin), and six grandchildren (Jared and Matthew Harband, Hailey and Emily Buchalter and Lena and Isaak Popkin). Donations in Carol's memory would be welcome to the Lighthouse Guild, serving visually impaired New Yorkers, or the Entertainment Community Fund (formerly known as the Actors Fund), in support of performing artists.
