I met Carol in the mid 2008 or so. I was a development officer of the University of the Sciences. Her husband was a graduate. I visited Carol on quite a few occasions at her beautiful apartment in New York City. I was there as a representative of the University but Carol and I developed a very nice friendship. We would go to lunch after enjoying a glass of champagne. Lunch was always at a terrific place that would have a casual welcoming atmosphere. We would talk abut her family, my family and everything else in between. I would get on the train back to Philadelphia later in the day feeling how nice it was to enjoy Carol's company. I did not see Carol during the last few years, and I regret that. . I wish her family all the best. Ann Satterthwaite
