I only just learned of Cecile Insdorf's passing. Her relationship with her devoted daughter was beyond rare, and speaks volumes on what it means to love and honor those who gave us life, and those to whom we have given it.

My deepest condolences to the Insdorf family. Cecile was a splendid woman, scholar, and many many times gave us the joy of her culture and knowledge. We will always remember her.
