CHARLES DIMSTON

DIMSTON--Charles. Beloved father, grandfather, partner, and friend of Israel, he died June 29, 2021 in his home, surrounded by love and music. Born April 5, 1927 in Antwerp, he emigrated in 1936 with his family. His life took him far and wide in business and pleasure. Married to Blanche, of blessed memory, Charly was father to Todd and Melissa, Danielle and Raffi, David and Sara, grandfather to Ariel and Rachel, and a warm friend to Leila. When Blanche died suddenly in 1996, Charly took a leap into a new chapter with mother of Anna, and continued his adventures. He showed us the world, sharing his curiosity as he learned in all different directions and in many languages. He loved music, he was an avid reader, he skied, played tennis, and was an accomplished napper. He is cherished. He will be missed. His long life, well-lived, will continue to amaze us as we reminisce our many years together. A Zionist and pragmatic, he pressed to free agunot and supported education for all in Israel.
