Charlotte Parkinson Obituary

PARKINSON--Charlotte. The Board of the Society for the Relief of Women and Children deeply mourns the death of our beloved past President and long-time Board member Mrs. John Parkinson, III. Charlotte served as President from 1998-2001. She gave generously of her time and talent to support the goals of our Society, which are to relieve poverty and homelessness for women in NYC. She was the author of a book, The Society for the Relief of Women and Children 1797-1997, published for our 200th anniversary. We will miss her wisdom and counsel.
