Chester Paligo

Chester J. Paligo, 62, of Brattleboro died Sunday, Nov. 16, 2008, at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital, surrounded by his family, following a long illness. Born in Bennington on April 13, 1946, he was the son of Caroline Carey Paligo and the late Walter John Paligo. He leaves his children, Victoria Pecor of Milton; Tabatha Hines and Jasmine Jemenez, both of Winooski; Kimberly, Rebecca, Rachel, Christopher and Melissa Paligo, all of Brattleboro, and Catherine and Elizabeth Paligo of New York; his mother, Caroline Paligo of Bennington; four sisters, Gloria Pratt, Kathy Button and Suzanne Davis, all of Bennington, and Anna Briggs of North Adams, Mass.; two brothers, Gordon R. Paligo of Bennington and Frederick M. Paligo of Havre de Grace, Md., and 14 grandchildren.
