I met David on the water-boating with the Long Island City Community Boathouse group. His encouragement opened the door to my becoming a dedicated urban boater, which I remain to this day.
I was shocked and dismayed to see a notice in May 2020, from LICCB, that we had lost him. But when I read his obituary, I was hugely impressed by his life so well-lived. My condolences to his extraordinary family and all his loved ones.
