David Dolinsky Obituary

1943 - 2022
David Dolinsky, 79, of Melville, NY, passed away on August 18, 2022 at St. Francis Hospital. Beloved husband, father, brother and grandfather, David will be missed for his good nature and affability. Born in Brooklyn, NY on May 14, 1943 to Morris and Pauline (Waldman) Dolinsky, David attended Lincoln High School, Long Island University, Brooklyn and New York Law School. He married Michele Sari Lokietz on January 20, 1968 in a traditional Jewish ceremony. He spent the majority of his career in the NYC Law Department where he rose to the rank of Deputy Borough Chief of Queens. An avid stamp collector he also loved stickball, reading history books, the NY Mets and the State of Israel. He gleefully retired at the age of 55 when he split his time as a snowbird in Manhasset Hills, NY and Boca Raton, Florida. He particular enjoyed the time he spent in Century Village with the "New Kids on the Block." He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years Michele, his three sons, Jason (Nancy), Adam (Janene) and Brad (Nichole) and grandchildren Gabrielle, Aidan, Jared, Elle, Trent, Charlize and Mila. May his name remain for a blessing.
