DAVID MANDELBAUM Obituary

MANDELBAUM--David Jon, passed away Saturday, February 5, 2022 in Los Angeles after a brief battle with lymphoma. Born in New York City on March 26, 1933, David attended the Horace Mann School in Riverdale, NY, Dartmouth College and the Tuck School of Business. He was a longtime board member and officer of the Winant Volunteers. He was devoted to the University Settlement of New York where he was a work camper, camp counselor, multi-year trustee and board chair. He served Dartmouth College in various capacities, including as president of the class of 1954. Trained as a C.P.A. and financial planner, David retired as Chief Operating Officer of The Carlisle Collection. He is survived by his wife Rosemary, his sons Jamie and Tim, his son-in-law Steve, daughter-in-law Elisa and his grandchildren Samantha, Elizabeth, Louis and Lily. Beloved by friends and family, David was above all warm and caring. A loving husband to his wife of 68 years, David was a man who made new friends wherever he went, and worked to better the lives of others. Donations may be made in David's name to The University Settlement Society of New York.
