DENNISON YOUNG

YOUNG--Dennison, Jr. of New York City died on February 13, 2022 at the age of 78, from cancer. A graduate of Tufts University ('65) and St. John's University School of Law ('68) he spent much of his career in public service. He was a Legislative Assistant to New York Senator Jacob Javits in Washington, D.C. He then became an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Southern District of New York serving as Chief of the Civil Rights Unit. Later he was named to the position of Associate U.S. Attorney. He served as Counsel to the Mayor for Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani, after which he was a partner at Giuliani Partners. He was a Boys & Girls Club of America NE Region Trustee for 18 years. In 2010, BGCA honored him with the President's Award. He was the beloved father of Nicholas Young and Emily Young and grandfather of Penelope and Frederick. He is also survived by his sister, Amy Geiger and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. His brother Andrew T. Young preceded him in death. Memorial service details to be announced.
