I only recently learned of Denny´s passing. I worked with him in Senator Javits´ office in the late 1960s i believe he married another Javits´ side, Lani Lanyard, if not mistaken. Is she still with us? Dennis Allee (

I worked with Denny Young in the office of Senator Jacob Javits in the late 1960s and early 1970s. He was a wonderful and talented young man who served the Senator extremely well

Just learned of our friend Denny Young's passing of early last year! I have emailed him at his law firm--just did not know of his illness much less of his passing. I got no replies at all to the many emails sent Denny; after last night's CNN broadcast about Rudy Giuliani I wondered why Denny was not in the program...Now, I know. I am so sorry and saddened by Denny's passing. Denny was the best. My condolences to his family. Denny was a special guy and good friend.

All the best,

The family of Paul J. Curran notes the passing of Dennison Young with great sadness. Denny was a treasured friend and colleague of Paul, Sr. from their service together in the U.S. Attorney's Office and across the years thereafter. He was also a friend and confidant to the rest of the Currans for 50 years. We will miss him. He and his family will remain in our thoughts and prayers. Ave atque vale.

Denny was one of a kind and someone who I will always cherish memories of as HE is the one that is responsible for the lawyer I became when he interviewed me as an intern in the US Attorney´s Office. Later, he became a mentor and always nudged me in the right direction !! I feel the lessons he taught me will be with me forever.

Rest In Peace Denny.

God bless you and your family.

Thank you

Dear Nicholas, Emily and the Young family,
I´m saddened to hear of your father´s passing. He worked with my Dad, Bill Tendy, as part of the US Attorney´s office, SDNY. It was a great group back then; we got to know your Dad as a true friend. We have fond memories of him; my dad always admired his quiet competence. May he rest in peace.
