DINA RECANATI

RECANATI--Dina Hettena. Dina Hettena Recanati passed away Saturday at the age of 93 in Tel Aviv. Dina was born in 1928 in Cairo, where she lived until her marriage to Raphael at the age of 18. Dina and Raphael moved to New York in 1948 where they raised their two sons, Oudi and Michael. After Michael's death in 2015, Dina moved to Israel to be with Oudi and his children. Dina was an artist who has exhibited worldwide with permanent works in the Israel Museum, Tel Aviv Museum, Ben Gurion Airport, The Jewish Museum among others. Dina was also a philanthropist who supported many institutions related to causes she held dear to her such as art, education, and medicine. Dina had three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
