Dear Cathy,
I had the honor and great pleasure of working with your dad for the last 17 years and I cherish him as both a colleague and friend. He was always gracious and kind, with a ready laugh and willingness to venture a thoughtful opinion on the events of the day.
One of his most sterling qualities was his unflagging willingness to help out any any "crazy" book project I'd propose and find just the right author to make it work.
I miss Don greatly. He'll always have a special place in my heart.

Dear Cathy - I so enjoyed working with your father. He was amazingly knowledgeable about the publishing world, and I learned a great deal from him. He was a gentleman in every sense. I had the good fortune to meet with him personally a few years ago for lunch in New York. We always stayed in touch, even after our two books together on nonprofit law. It is with heartfelt sadness that I learned of your fathers passing. You have my most sincere sympathy. Don and I worked so well together writing and preparing technical manuscript on the books we worked on together for Aspen Publishers. I had no friend whose wisdom and kindness meant more to me. Dear Daryl and Cathy,
I was sorry to hear about Uncle Donald's passing, and hope that in his last days he had family and friends close by.
I remember our family get-togethers when we were all children, and how Uncle Donald always struck me as a larger-than-life personality, with an infectious laugh and big smile for all of us.
