Dear Cathy, your Father was a good person, a friend, kind, thoughtful. Don was always positive. He never said unkind things about others. It was a great experience co-authoring the book with him. Dick Mayer

Dear Cathy,
I had the honor and great pleasure of working with your dad for the last 17 years and I cherish him as both a colleague and friend. He was always gracious and kind, with a ready laugh and willingness to venture a thoughtful opinion on the events of the day.
One of his most sterling qualities was his unflagging willingness to help out any any "crazy" book project I'd propose and find just the right author to make it work.
I miss Don greatly. He'll always have a special place in my heart.
With sincere condolences,
Lou Rolla

Dear Cathy - I so enjoyed working with your father. He was amazingly knowledgeable about the publishing world, and I learned a great deal from him. He was a gentleman in every sense. I had the good fortune to meet with him personally a few years ago for lunch in New York. We always stayed in touch, even after our two books together on nonprofit law. I already miss him -- keep all the good memories alive. Fondly, Penina Lieber

Dear Cathy,
It is with heartfelt sadness that I learned of your fathers passing. You have my most sincere sympathy. Don and I worked so well together writing and preparing technical manuscript on the books we worked on together for Aspen Publishers. I had no friend whose wisdom and kindness meant more to me. Your father was a kind and thoughtful colleague and a true gentlemen. I shall miss his smiling presence and his invaluable assistance. May your memories be a source of comfort.

Although I never met your father in person, I am so grateful for his life and for yours. All the great qualities mentioned by all who eulogize his memory are present in you. His thoughtful and generous spirit, his contagious smile and concern for others are present in the work that you do now. May your father's soul rest in peace and may his legacy in his loved ones live on perpetually. Our daily prayers are with you and all your loved ones
