When I was Food editor of the Houston Chronicle, Ed and I crossed paths often at winetastings and gourmet events. He was a true officer and a gentleman, a wonderful wine mentor-connoisseur and lawyer. I have so many pleasant memories of those days of wine and roses. Condolences to the family also on your mother's recent death.

I was so sorry to hear about your dad. I love the picture, that is how I remember him. I have fond memories of him from my childhood-champagne and caviar! He was a fine man and lived an extraordinary life. I pray the lord will give you strength and peace during this time of loss.
