EDWARD ERWIN Obituary
The New York Philharmonic mourns the passing, on June 19, of former Philharmonic Assistant Principal Trombone Edward Erwin, whose 35-year tenure began during the Orchestra's first-ever tour to South America with Leonard Bernstein and lives on in recordings featuring his solos. We extend deepest condolences to his wife, children, grandchildren, brother, and nieces and nephews.
