I worked at The Dana Foundation for 22 years, during that time I found Mr Rover to be a wonderful person to work with. He treated everyone with respect, and gave people the opportunity to advance. I had the upmost respect for him, and hope his memories live on through his love ones.

I did not know Mr Rover personally but i do remember him helping the children at the Madison Square Boys with their homework in 1960.He must have been a student at Fordham at the time.He was from the neighborhood and giving back to the less fortunate kids at the club

As the youngest of the three Rover Boys (born October 6th 1939, a year after Ed´s birth on October 4th (both at home in 334 East 24th Street) there is almost nothing to add to the tributes he will receive from the many whose lives he enriched and loved, certainly none more heartfelt than the enduring love for the big brother whose love was mutually shared for the eight plus decades of his remarkable life including l our last nine days together in his home in December of 2019 and the final four we had together there in July of 2022.
"And soon our best men with thee do go..."

I am heartbroken to hear the news of Ed's passing. He was the consummate gentleman, lawyer and mentor. I extend my deepest condolences to Maureen and family. May his legacy live on in all who love him and may they passage of time diminish the acute pain from Ed's loss and turn the pain into beautiful memories of Ed's life well-lived.
