I know it's late, but wanting Helen, Irene, Heejohng, and Richard to know I'm thinking of their mom--an amazing, beautiful soul, whom I feel honored to have known. Love to all of you.

I recall wonderful times with Eleanor and Chang-hee as they welcomed us to Morris, MN over Korean barbecue. The humorous story of her coming to west central Minnesota and her (eventual) embrace of the places here was unforgettable and her love and devotion to family was evident in ever thing she did.

Eleanor was a remarkable woman, but I knew her mostly as the mom of my dear friend and her siblings. I saw the fierce love, devotion, dedication to her children's success in life, that animated her. I'm grateful to have known her and her wonderful husband, Chung-hee, who left this earth far too early. To Helen, Irene, Heejohng, and Rich: my heart and prayers are with you. You embody everything that would make your parents proud.
