SAMUELSON--Elliot D., Esq. Elliot D. Samuelson, Esq., beloved husband of 63 years, father, grandfather, uncle and respected leader in matrimonial and family law passed away on March 1st peacefully at 92. He was a passionate advocate for individuals and families navigating divorce and family-related matters. Career highlights: Author of five books, President of the New York chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, Chair of the New York State Bar Association's Family Law Section, Chair of the Nassau County Bar Association's Matrimonial and Family Law Committee, founder and President of the New York Family Law American Inn of Court, editor of the NYSBA's Family Law Review for over 30 years. A devoted family man, he was an avid sailor, talented photographer and enthusiastic pianist. Services were held March 3rd.
