I had the good fortune to serve under Etan´s leadership on the board of Daytop Village.
She was inspirational in so many ways, working tirelessly to secure a future for the many residents in treatment at Daytop while also helping struggling theater groups to grow and prosper. Etan adored her family, and showered her friends with good company, sage advice and much laughter. She had an incredible talent for bringing out the best in people and was even able to make an opera-lover of me! I continue to miss her, and I will never forget her.

I have such lovely memories of Etan! She was a wonderful friend with whom I served with at Daytop Village Foundation on committees and the Board for many years. She was a caring friend offering perspective and wisdom throughout my times with her. I have missed her presence in recent years and now we all must truly say goodbye. She will continue to be an Angel in the lives of those she dearly loved. She will always be with us.
My deep sympathy to her dearest, closest friends and family. You are all in my prayers.
