I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of such of wonderful human being, and a very skilled surgeon. In 1984 I was shot twice by a criminal in possession of an illegal handgun. Dr. Johnson was called in, and I spent 13 hours in the O.R. getting a Saphenous vein graft. The great vascular surgery that Dr. Johnson did saved my legs. I add these condolences to his family and friends. The memory of Dr. Johnson will remain with me to the end of my days. My deepest sympathies are with his family, relatives, and friends.
