FLORENCE SUSMAN

SUSMAN--Florence Carol Levin, was born May 21, 1914 in New York City. She attended NYU and graduated from the Women's Medical College of Pennsylvania (now Drexel University College of Medicine) in 1937. She married Benjamin R. Susman. M.D. in 1946 and for 40 years they had a joint practice in Manhattan and later in Mt. Vernon, NY. She is survived by her children Maxine Susman and her husband Jay Harris, Rita Wolpert and her husband Michael Lobel, and William Susman and his wife Virginia, by her grandchildren Suzanne, Owen, Julianne, Margaret, and Katherine and by her niece Myra Graubard her husband John and her children Naomi and Michael. The interment was at Sharon Gardens Cemetery in Valhalla, NY. Donations may be made to the Compassionate Care Hospice Foundation.
