FRANCIS GILLEN Obituary
Beloved father, grandfather and brother died peacefully on January 20, 2017. Survived by his sister and brother-in- law, Joanne and George Kiesel, his children, Jennifer, Francis, Spencer, Christopher, Amanda and Louisa, their spouses and 14 grandchildren. Frank was born and raised in New York where he attended Xavier High School before graduating from Georgetown University in 1959. After attending Medical School of Virginia, he served as a Lieutenant Medical Corps in the Navy (1964-1967). Dr. Gillen was an accomplished plastic surgeon in New York City, where he practiced for over 40 years. He will be missed.
