FRANCIS H. MUSSELMAN
MUSSELMAN--Francis Haas. The partners of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP mourn the passing of their friend and partner, Francis H. Musselman. Frank joined Milbank as an associate in 1953, became a partner in 1960 and founded Milbank's Washington D.C. office in 1980. From 1970-1984, he served as Managing Partner of Milbank and later retired in 1990. Frank was widely recognized as a leading specialist in bankruptcy law and law firm management and was a pioneer in the use of computers in law firms. Tall in stature and with a kindness of spirit, generosity and sense of humor to match, Frank was a mentor, advisor and friend to many at Milbank over his 47-year career at the Firm, and he will be sorely missed. We wish to express our deepest sympathy to Frank's four children, nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Frank was a giant of law firm management. When the N. Y. State Bar Ass'n Committee of Law Practice Management fell into disarray, Frank was the chair who resurrected it. We who labor in that field will sorely miss his wise counsel and vast experience.
