Dear Vos Family,

My father, Eli Grossman, often spoke fondly of Frank Vos. I believe they shared a roon together at MIT in 1936, and then they were life-long friends. My father's memories of Frank were always with the greatest respect and friendship.

Sincerely,

Will Grossman

To Cadie and the members of the Frank Vos family,
I became acquainted with Frank when he was an undergraduate at the School of General Studies when I had occasion to approve his registrations as the Associate Dean. Frank quickly became a mentor to me helping me think more creatively about how to promote the School. I was his guest for lunch at the Lotos Club and remember a lovely dinner party at your house in Connecticut. After Frank finished his master's degree working with Ken Jackson I saw him only occasionally and then no more. The current administration at the School of General Studies did not, I suspect, have any connection with Frank nor know that he was also a donor to the school for some years. I extend my condolences to you and your family on behalf of Columbia.
