George was my mother's cousin. I have pleasant memories of him dating back to my childhood.
I last saw him in June of '06, when he and Jerry came to Oregon for my mother's 90th birthday.
Since then we kept in touch with phone calls.
I feel a great loss and will very much miss talking to him and knowing he is there.
My sympathies to Jerry and the others who loved him.

Dear Cousin Jerry, Paul and I are so sorry you lost George. Though we didn't get to "know" him, we really enjoyed the time we did spend with the two of you last time we were in NY. You obviously had a very special relationship and now, an important loss. Take care as best you can. Barbara Ogden (Mary's sister)and Paul

We enjoyed George's company when visiting New York City about a year ago, and are so glad we were able to see him again. He was a fine human being.

We are saddened with the loss of our dear friend, with whom we were in attendance at the Met on April 21, for the first night of La Cenerentola - George loved the singing (not so much the production). Andrew and I will miss George, and we extend our condolences to dear Jerry and George's family and many friends.

We have very fond memories of George not only while we lived in New York, but also afterward when we visited. He holds a special place in all of our hearts. Love, Karen, Steve, Emersyn and Tatum
