GERALD GLASSER Obituary

GLASSER--Gerald. The Board and Staff of the Overlook Foundation and Overlook Medical Center in Summit, NJ, deeply mourn the passing of Gerald Glasser, Ph.D, husband of Marlene Glasser, life-long resident of Westfield, NJ, and beloved member of the Overlook family. Gerry was a valued Trustee and former Chairman of the Overlook Foundation Board as well as a Trustee of the Overlook Medical Center Advisory Board and Chairman of Overlook's Community Health Committee. Gerry's contributions as a philanthropic leader and champion of services to benefit the Overlook community are extensive and include the Thomas Glasser Lecture Series and the Thomas Glasser Caregivers Center at Overlook. He was an accomplished professor, statistician, businessman, father, civic leader, author and a recipient of numerous professional and civic awards, including an induction into the Westfield Hall of Fame in 2012. Gerry was a wonderful friend and mentor, and he will be deeply missed. Our heartfelt sympathies go to Marlene and her sister Joan, Gerry's daughters: Marjorie Ticknor and Laura Glasser-Baker and Gerry's daughter-in-law, Meg Glasser, and their respective families.

My thoughts are with all in the Glasser family at this time of loss. As the former Head at Wardlaw-Hartridge, I know how much the Glasser family meant to the school and still feel the loss of Tom.
