GERALD SCHILLER Obituary

SCHILLER--Gerald R. It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Jerry Schiller, a cherished colleague, mentor and friend. Jerry served as President of the National Executive Service Corps Healthcare Group and was one of the organization's longest-serving consultants, dedicating over three decades to NESC and its clients. He was admired for his intellect, professionalism and deep commitment to service -- qualities that defined both his work and his life. A graduate of Cornell University in Chemical Engineering, Jerry brought vast experience from his distinguished career as Senior Vice President at Lonza, Inc., and as a leader in multiple national consulting initiatives, including projects with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Jerry exemplified NESC's core value of lifelong contribution. He inspired others through his integrity, generosity and genuine collegial spirit. Reaching his centennial year, he remained an active, thoughtful presence in the lives of those he worked with and mentored. He was a Lieutenant, JG in the Navy during WW2 and after WW2 served in the US Naval Reserve for an additional six years. Barbara Linder, President; David Sanchez, Chairman; Marv Berenblum, Vice Chairman; Michael Towers, Chief Financial and Administrative Officer.

Jerry and June were my mother's neighbors for decades. Jerry was such a lovely man, always so kind and gracious. I have such fond memories of both of them. My condolences to the family.
