GERALDINE STEINLAUF Obituary

STEINLAUF--Geraldine, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on April 11th in Delray Beach, FL. She was preceded in death by Leonard Steinlauf, her husband and soulmate of 69 years, and by her cherished son Steven. Geraldine was the devoted mother of sons Richard and Jon, proud grandmother of Chase and Sloan Steinlauf and adoring mother-in-law to Joanne Ceraso. Born in Brooklyn on April 15, 1928, she and Leonard raised their family in Westchester County where she became an avid golfer, a bridge enthusiast and a longtime member of the Metropolis and Hamlet Country Clubs. She was also a loyal fan of the New York Mets. She maintained her lifelong love of learning by reading voraciously. She was known to her many nieces and nephews as their cherished Aunt Cooksie. A beautiful and loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Donations in her memory can be made to: https://www.ujafedny.org/
